Mucormycosis is a life-threatening fungal infection caused by group of moulds known as mucormycetes. It viral disease, increasingly progressive, rapidly triggers in diabetic, immunocompromised and trauma patients. Diabetic patients seem to have the classic rhinocerebral variant. Rhinocerebral mucormycosis begins nasal cavity, paranasal sinus, orbital soft tissue infection. In immunocompetent patients, direct injection also induces cutaneous form. Cutaneous occurs may infect underlying tissues. more frequent people with major disorders such diabetic acidosis or acute leukaemia those taking corticosteroids cytotoxic drugs.
